Chicken Ranch logoJamestown residents and California tourists have a new destination on the horizon. The Chicken Ranch Casino has announced it will hatch on July 15th, 2024, and is now accepting reservations.

The hotel has 190 guest rooms, several restaurants and bars, and an impressive casino floor and is located just an hour west of Yosemite National Park. The hotel and casino will have an Aztec décor and feature open floor plans for guests. There are also several suite options for anyone looking for more accommodations. Base prices for a single adult bedroom begin at around $195 a night, and prices fluctuate depending on the time of year.

The casino floor will feature a variety of slot machines, table games, a bingo hall, and other specialty games. Table games include Ultimate Texas Hold’Em, Blackjack, 4 and 3-card poker, Face-Up Pia Gow poker, and Spanish 21. The floor will also feature a smoke-free gaming section.

Online Casino Options

California still needs to pass an online casino bill, so residents must look outside the state for online CA casinos. While the options are plentiful, the banking methods, gameplay libraries, and reward programs vary from site to site.

Online casinos offer many slot titles, table games, specialty games, and sometimes live dealer games. Other reasons why many California players choose to gamble online include:

  • User-friendly banking options.
  • New sign-up bonus offers.
  • Mobile capabilities.
  • The massive gaming libraries.

Will California Casinos Go Online In The Future?

As the cost of traveling to the Golden State rises, local casinos will one day go online. However, the state legislature must pass legislation to license and regulate those services.

There have been attempts to pass an online casino bill in the past, but the most recent effort was withdrawn from the ballot after resistance from the local Indian casinos. Over 70 casinos are in California, all owned by one of the state’s 109 recognized tribes.

Who Owns The Chicken Ranch Casino?

The Chicken Rancheria Me-Wuk Indians of California privately own the Chicken Ranch Casino. The new casino resort will also feature a rooftop pool, event space, arcade, gift shop, and cultural center that will pay tribute to the tribe.
